How long will it take to travel to Arthurs Views?

Are you located close to the Peninsula Hot Springs complex?
Yes, we are about a 15-minute drive from the Hot Springs.
How many suites are on the property?
There are in total five suites; three Spa Suites, one Penthouse Suite and one Penthouse Studio at Arthurs Views and each are designed for an adult couple, no additional bed configurations are available as we are a couples only retreat.
Is breakfast available?
Yes optional breakfast provisions are available. Please select from the add ons when you book.
What is the check-in procedure?
Check-in is from 3.00pm and check-out by 10.30am. We will issue you with an easy to use security code that will allow you 24 hour access, this way you can then check in at your own leisure. Our contact details are in the suites and you can call us at any time during your stay if you need assistance or have questions.
Is there a restaurant on the premises?
No. However the Arthurs Seat Hotel, open for lunch every day, is only a 400 meter walk from Arthurs Views There is an excellent selection of restaurants and wineries all within a 5 minute drive from us. We are happy to help you with any arrangements. If staying on a weekend or public holiday it is highly recommended that you book.
How much deposit is required?
All bookings require a deposit equivalent to 50% of the accommodation price. Our cancellation policy is detailed in our terms and conditions. The balance is required 30 days prior to check-in.
Do you cater for children?
No Arthurs Views is designed for couples wanting a romantic or peaceful getaway.
Are there stairs on the property?
Arthurs Views is located at the top of Arthurs Seat on the Bay side of the hill, blessing us with stunning panoramic views. There are two short flights of steps from the car park to the main level, approximately nine steps each, where the Penthouse is located and from the main level, 17 internal stairs to our Murray and Chapman suites, 38 external steps to the Bowen Suite and two small flights from the main level to the Eyrie approximately five steps each.
How close is the beach?
About a 5 minute drive to the Dromana beach and about a 10 min drive from the ocean back beach.
Can paying/staying guests’ entertain visitors on site?
We are a couples only and quiet getaway retreat, therefore a no party, gathering, visitor or children rule applies.
Is your property Star Rated under the AAA Tourism/RACV accreditation scheme?
Yes, we are officially 4.5 Star rated.
We also have an environmental awareness rating of 4 Green Stars
Are all the suites identical?
No, they are different. However, they all have bay views from their private balconies and the rooms.
The Flinders Penthouse on the top floor is designed as a self-contained one bedroom apartment. There is NO spa but it has an electric log fire, 65” smart tv spacious living area, private balcony and the most stunning views on the Peninsula. The Eyrie Penthouse Studio, on the top floor, is designed as a one bedroom studio, with kitchenette, lounge room with gas log fire and en-suite (no spa) and underfloor heating to bathroom, wc and kitchenette.The Murray and Chapman Spa Suites are mirror images of each other. Both have double spas, 55″ smart tvs and electric log fires. The Bowen Suite has a huge square deep soak tub, is located on its own level for additional privacy, is self-contained with a small kitchenette, private balcony, underfloor heating to kitchenette, entry, bathroom and wc. These varying suites give you a range of configurations to choose from when booking.
Do you have a reception area?
There is no full time reception however, enquiries and assistance are available by calling 5981 8400.
How will my booking be confirmed?
If you book online, our booking system will automatically send you an instant booking confirmation by email once you have completed the booking including your credit card details for the deposit. Our booking system is on a secure server, which means your credit card details are not visible on the internet and are therefore safe.
All reservations made by phone are confirmed on the day of receipt.
Is there a taxi service on the Mornington Peninsula?
Yes, if you require transport to and from your restaurant you have a few choices, Peninsula Taxi (03) 5981 2233, Your Shuttle 1300 798 488 and A2B Designated Driver 0477 226 655.
Do you enforce a no smoking policy in the Suites?
Yes, we have provided facilities for smokers on the private balcony attached to each suite. Should guests wish to smoke inside then we cannot accept your booking.
Can we bring our pets?
No, sorry at Arthurs Views we are pet lovers too…but this property cannot cater for animals or pets.
