Arthurs Views is located just under the summit at Arthurs Seat on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria and is only minutes from the major wineries, beaches, markets, golf courses and attractions like the Peninsula Hot Springs.
Arthurs Seat has been a popular recreational destination since the earliest days of settlement. The steep granite hill, the Peninsula’s highest viewpoint, provides panoramic views of Port Phillip Bay from its many lookouts and a wealth of things to do within a short walk of the summit. The 304-metre peak was named ‘Arthurs Seat’ by Lieutenant Murray in 1802, after a similar landform near Edinburgh.
